Burnworthy House

Burnworthy House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 37 older people, with 33 residents at the time of inspection. People living there feel safe and well cared for, with staff described as well trained, kind and compassionate. Residents said they were always listened to and felt able to raise any worries or concerns with staff or management. Throughout the inspection, inspectors observed friendly, warm interactions between people and staff, with team members being respectful and offering support and reassurance when needed.

The home maintains a happy, relaxed atmosphere with a wide variety of activities and social stimulation available to residents. People are encouraged to make choices about their daily lives and pursue their interests and hobbies. Staff support residents to have maximum choice and control, using the least restrictive approach possible and always acting in their best interests.
