Orchard House Nursing Home

Orchard House Nursing Home is a residential care home providing nursing care to older people living with dementia and a range of health conditions, including strokes, diabetes and Parkinson's disease. At the time of the assessment, 28 people lived at the home across a large building with three floors and two ground floor extensions.

Inspectors found the service remained Good overall, following a check on specific concerns raised after nursing care was added and new management appointed. People received safe, kind care, staff knew them well, and links with health professionals supported safe transitions. Staffing levels needed review, and some documentation around changes in people's health required better updating, with an action plan already underway.
