Mais House

Mais House provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 54 older people with a range of physical health problems including Parkinson's disease, diabetes, strokes and cancer. The home also supports people in the early stages of dementia and those receiving end of life care. At the time of inspection, 39 people were living at the home.

People receive safe care and support from staff trained to recognise signs of abuse and risk. Residents reported feeling safe and cared for, with one commenting "It's lovely here, the food is very nice and staff caring." Care plans and risk assessments are in place to protect people's safety and well-being.
