Oakhurst Court Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 57 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 43 residents were living at the service. People felt safe because staff knew their needs well and understood how to manage risks associated with their care. Staff demonstrated clear understanding of their responsibilities in safeguarding people from abuse and harm. The home had implemented measures to reduce infection spread and kept practices updated in line with national guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
