Marjorie House

Marjorie House, in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, provides residential care for up to 50 older people, including some living with dementia. At the time of this first inspection since registration, 20 people were living there, and the CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found people were protected from avoidable harm, with robust recruitment, safe medicines management and good safeguarding procedures. Staff were described as kind and caring, and people and relatives spoke highly of the food, activities and approachable management. Governance systems gave confidence in the leadership at the home.
