Amberwood Lodge

Amberwood Lodge provides personal care for up to nine people with a learning disability and autistic people. At the time of assessment, nine people were living at the home. The assessment followed concerns about the safety of care provision, but inspectors found the service to be safe and well-led overall.

Inspectors found staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with safeguarding procedures in place to help protect people from abuse. Communication needs were well met, including through pictures and body language, and family members were involved in care planning. People and relatives said they felt happy and safe at the home.
