Amberwood Lodge

Amberwood Lodge provides personal care to nine young people aged 18 and over, with facilities including two communal kitchen dining areas, a sensory room and activities room. The service supports people with learning disabilities and autism to live meaningful lives with control, choice and independence through person-centred care.

People using the service reported feeling happy and safe. Relatives praised staff for their good understanding of their loved ones' needs and preferences. Risks have been identified and managed to keep people safe from harm, and medicines are managed safely by trained staff. Staff actively listen to what people want and work quickly to support them in achieving their goals, offering solutions to aid independence and help develop their skills.
