Loveys Lodge

Loveys Lodge provides personal care to up to four younger people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. The service had implemented infection prevention measures including personal protective equipment and visitor checks following a CQC inspection. However, fire safety risks had not been fully explored, putting residents at increased risk. The home's monitoring systems were insufficient to properly assess quality of care, and issues were addressed in isolation rather than identifying broader lessons for improvement.

Residents and relatives reported being happy with the service and felt people were safe. Staff understood how to report possible harm. The provider conducted appropriate recruitment checks before employing new staff members.
