Kimbolton

Kimbolton is a residential care home supporting up to 6 people with learning disabilities and autism, currently caring for 5 residents. Each person has their own personalised bedroom and bathroom, with shared access to a kitchen, lounges and garden. Staff make reasonable adjustments to ensure people are fully involved in discussions about their support, communicating through each person's preferred methods. The home provides an interactive and stimulating environment where residents are supported to pursue their interests and achieve their aspirations. Staff encourage independence where residents choose this, and the management team actively works to develop staff capabilities in this area. However, records and monitoring of residents' goals and achievements require improvement.
