About Linfield House

Linfield House is a nursing care home in West Sussex, providing personal and nursing care for older people with a range of health needs. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the service.

Linfield House provides personal and nursing care for up to 54 older people with various health needs including Parkinson's and Diabetes. The service operates across five suites, two of which are specifically designed to support people living with Dementia. At the time of inspection, 47 people were using the service.

Staff knew residents well and supported them in a relaxed, engaged manner with a variety of activities available. The atmosphere was calm throughout the home. A visiting professional observed that care assistants on the Richmond unit interact particularly well with residents, noting they see lots of activities and regularly spend time sitting and chatting with residents rather than focusing solely on tasks.
