Laverstock Care Centre

Laverstock Care Centre provides nursing and personal care for up to 80 people, with 65 people using the service at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding staff understood how to keep people safe and knew how to report concerns. Risk assessments were detailed and gave staff clear guidance, and there were enough staff on hand who were not rushed and had time to talk with people.

People and relatives told inspectors staff were kind, respectful and attentive, with one relative describing the care as "first class". Recruitment and training, including the Care Certificate, were carried out properly. Visiting was unrestricted, and people knew how to raise complaints and attend resident meetings.
