Kite Hill Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 30 older people across three floors, with a passenger lift for those with mobility needs. The building features a large communal lounge and dining room, a quiet lounge, and an accessible two-level garden. Staff had implemented clear infection control processes with prominent signage and a designated area for putting on and removing personal protective equipment. People were supported to understand the reasons for care changes, and those at higher risk of infection or self-isolating received creative support including regular checks and individual activities in their rooms to minimise the impact of isolation. Safe visiting arrangements for relatives utilised the service's outdoor spaces.
