Hazel Lodge

Hazel Lodge provides personal and nursing care to older adults and those with cognitive and physical disabilities, supporting up to 21 residents. At inspection, all 21 places were occupied. Residents and their relatives reported feeling happy and respected, with confidence that staff provided safe, knowledgeable care. Staff demonstrated clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and knew how to report concerns appropriately.

The home maintained a clean, homely environment with adequate staffing levels and appropriate equipment to meet residents' needs. Medicines were administered safely and as prescribed, with audits confirming systems were followed correctly. Staff received appropriate training and support to carry out their roles. Quality assurance processes were in place and risks to people and the environment were managed safely.
