Kingfisher Court

Kingfisher Court is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 66 people, including those living with dementia. The home is split across three floors and surrounded by large outdoor communal areas. At inspection, 55 people were living at the service.

Staff provided exceptionally caring and responsive support, enabling people to pursue activities and interests important to them, including learning new skills and hobbies. People and relatives praised the compassionate care provided, particularly at end-of-life, describing it as exemplary and truly uplifting. Staff collaborated effectively with health and social care professionals to identify early signs of health deterioration and act promptly, preventing further decline. The provider focused on developing and supporting staff careers in adult social care, and external health and social care professionals commended the management of the service.
