Homebeech

Homebeech is a nursing home providing support to people with a variety of health conditions, including those living with dementia, a learning disability and/or autism. The CQC found the service continues to require improvement, with repeated breaches relating to safe care, person-centred support and governance. Inspectors found risks were not always well managed, staffing relied heavily on agency workers, and infection control and building safety needed attention.

Care was found to be more task-led than person-centred, with activities not tailored to individual interests and mixed feedback on food and cleanliness. On a more positive note, medicines were managed safely, staff understood safeguarding, and recruitment checks were robust. The provider told inspectors improvements were underway.
