Apsley House Care Home

Apsley House Care Home is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 35 people in a large converted period property in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. At inspection, 20 people were living there. Residents spoke highly of the care they received and felt involved in decisions about their support. They reported having freedom in how they spent their time and felt safe at the home. There was a calm and happy atmosphere during the visit. Relatives were equally positive, with one saying "I just can't praise the home highly enough, we are lucky to have found it" and another describing the staff as "brilliant" with "incredibly positive feedback about the place."

Care staff demonstrated good knowledge of risks to people's health and wellbeing and delivered care safely. Staffing levels were sufficient to meet people's needs, and medicines were managed safely.
