Aronel Cottage Care Home Limited

Aronel Cottage provides personal and nursing care to 38 people with various health needs including impaired mobility, frailty, diabetes and Parkinson's disease. The service operates from one adapted building with two floors accessed by lift.

Inspectors identified concerns with leadership and governance, finding that quality monitoring processes were inadequate and records were not always accurate or complete. People and relatives reported that visiting arrangements were restrictive and did not consistently follow government guidelines. Safety procedures were also found to be ineffective, with incidents not always properly responded to or reported to appropriate authorities, and insufficient action taken to mitigate risks of harm to residents.
