Holly Lodge Residential Home

This residential care home supports up to 22 older people, including those living with dementia and other health conditions. At inspection, 20 people were receiving care. Staff recruitment follows safe practices, and medicines are administered and managed well. Infection prevention and control processes are managed safely.

However, the provider and registered manager did not always have sufficient oversight of the service. Appropriate action had not always been taken when concerns were raised, and records did not always reflect people's changing needs. Audits were not always effective at identifying areas for improvement.
