About Steven Lodge

Steven Lodge is a residential care home in Medway, supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people to live as independently as possible. The CQC's most recent findings on the service are set out below.

Steven Lodge supports people, including those with a learning disability and autistic people, to live as independently as possible in their own home. The CQC found people were protected from abuse, treated with dignity, and supported to make choices and access their community, with staff seeking consent before providing care.

Some shortfalls remained: parts of the environment needed maintenance, some safety equipment required repair, and audit systems, though improved since the last inspection, were not yet fully embedded. This led to a breach in governance, though inspectors found minimal impact on people, who reported being happy with staff and the support they received.
