Grove Lodge

Grove Lodge provides personal care for up to 22 people aged 65 and over, with 17 residents at the time of inspection. Staff aim to support people in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. However, gaps in care documentation created risks that people did not receive their care safely, and it was not always clear when people could not make their own decisions or how consent to care was being managed within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 framework. Management oversight was not sufficiently robust, with audits failing to consistently identify issues within the service.
