Glencairn Residential Home

Residents and relatives reported feeling safe and well cared for, with strong relationships between residents and staff. One resident said, "It's very nice here, the staff are very nice, kind and I have a good relationship with them. I feel safe living here, this is my home."

Inspectors identified concerns with safeguarding practices, finding that referrals had not always been made appropriately to the local authority. The home was recommended to use proper local safeguarding procedures when necessary, and issues were noted regarding how reportable incidents were handled.
