Glebe House Care Home

Glebe House Care Home accommodates up to 24 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 22 residents lived there. Staffing levels were adequate to meet people's needs and keep them safe. The service maintained low staff turnover and did not rely on agency staff, ensuring residents received consistent care from familiar carers. Staff received safeguarding training and understood how to recognise and report abuse. Risk assessments were completed for all residents, with mitigation plans developed where necessary.

The home's recruitment procedures included pre-employment checks and references. Accidents and incidents were reviewed to identify learning opportunities shared across the team. Staff maintained building safety and equipment standards, practised good infection control measures and hygiene, and managed medicines safely.
