The Grange Retirement Home

The Grange Retirement Home provides residential care and support, including for people who cannot always express their needs verbally. The service was assessed following previous concerns, and inspectors found significant improvements across risk management, medicines, staffing and quality monitoring.

Care plans reflected people's needs, medicines were managed safely, and staff were well trained, suitably recruited and knew people well. People and relatives said they felt safe, well cared for, and able to raise concerns, describing staff as kind and the home as well managed. The CQC found the service well-led, with effective systems for monitoring standards and responding to feedback.
