De Baliol

De Baliol provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 59 people, with a dedicated dementia care unit on the first floor for those with advanced dementia. At inspection, 50 people were living at the home. Residents spoke highly of their experience, with one describing it as feeling like home and praising the freedom and kindness of staff. People felt safe and safeguarding systems were in place to protect them from abuse.

The service is supported by a consistent and stable staff team who know residents well. Staff enable people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. Both residents and relatives spoke positively about the caring nature of the staff and the policies supporting this approach.
