Ashington Grange

Ashington Grange provides personal and nursing care to up to 59 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 44 people were using the service, with bedrooms arranged over two floors alongside communal lounges and dining areas on each floor.

People and their relatives spoke positively about the care provided. One relative described how staff maintained high standards even during Covid-19, when extra pressure meant working with reduced staffing but with "no drop in the care." Another relative noted their family member became "a different person" after arriving at the home, describing them as "happy, chatty" and expressing confidence in the safety and quality of care consistently delivered.
