Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home

Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home provides nursing care for up to 95 people with long-term health conditions, physical disability, sensory impairment or dementia. At the time of the assessment, 86 people lived there. The CQC carried out the assessment following three safeguarding enquiries and rated the home Good overall.

Inspectors found people lived in a safe, clean environment, with risks managed well and medicines mostly handled safely, though two minor improvement areas were identified. Staff were kind, well trained and worked closely with families and health professionals. There was no registered manager in post, though a new manager had been appointed, and some people reported staffing shortfalls linked to agency use, which the provider was addressing.
