Bridle Lodge

Bridle Lodge, in Nottinghamshire, is a residential care home supporting younger adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. It cared for five people at the time of the assessment and is rated good overall by the CQC, having previously been rated outstanding.

Inspectors found people were safe, well supported and had built trusting relationships with staff. Medicines were managed safely and recruitment was robust, though some care plans lacked person-centred detail, an issue the provider was already addressing. Staffing and transport limits had reduced community outings, but the home was being steered by a stable interim manager with strong quality checks in place.
