About Gedling Village Care Home

Gedling Village Care Home brings a sense of community and warmth to the heart of Nottinghamshire, offering families a familiar, local setting when looking for residential care for a loved one. The team there understands how significant this decision can be, and they aim to make the transition as comfortable and reassuring as possible for both residents and their families.

Gedling Village Care Home provides personal care for up to 36 residents aged 65 and over, some living with dementia, across a three-storey adapted building. The service has capacity for 60 people.

While management of medicines has improved, inspectors identified areas needing further development. Storage of prescribed creams and medication competency training require enhancement to ensure all medications are managed safely and risks are minimised. Infection control practices have improved, with the service following government guidance.
