Blandford Lodge

Blandford Lodge is a small care home without nursing, supporting up to four people with mental health needs, and can also support people with a learning disability alongside these needs. Three people were living there at the time of the CQC's assessment, which followed complaints and safeguarding concerns. Inspectors found the provider had acted appropriately to keep people safe, and the home remains rated good.

People felt safe, well cared for and involved in decisions about their support, and staff were kind and attentive. Some issues were found, including a locked kitchen door restricting access without proper assessment, record-keeping needing improvement, and one bedroom lacking personalisation, all of which the provider began addressing.
