Imperial Lodge

Imperial Lodge is a care home for up to 10 adults with mental health needs and substance misuse problems. Eight people were living there when inspectors visited. The home had previously required improvement due to issues with staffing, staff recruitment checks and governance, but the CQC found these had since been addressed.

Inspectors found most areas of the service were well managed, with people feeling safe, well supported and involved in decisions about their care. Some concerns remained around infection prevention and control and medicines management, which staff began addressing during the visit. The home is now rated Good overall.
