About Badby Park

Badby Park is a nursing home in West Northamptonshire, providing care for older people and younger adults with a range of needs including dementia, sensory impairment, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Badby Park, in West Northamptonshire, is a care home providing nursing care to older people and younger adults living with dementia, sensory impairment, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service inadequate overall and placed it in special measures, finding breaches relating to safe care, person-centred care and governance. Risks were not always managed well, staffing levels were often insufficient, and building repairs had not been consistently actioned.

Quality varied across the home's five units, and not everyone received care tailored to their needs. Relatives said they were not always told about accidents, illness or hospital admissions, and activities and community outings had reduced. Inspectors did note that people and relatives found staff kind and caring, and that the home was clean.
