The following is CQC's published account of its assessment, published 23 March 2026. References to “we” mean CQC. It describes findings at that time.

The service is a nursing home providing nursing and personal care support to older people and younger adults who may be living with dementia. Processes were in place to help keep people safe and protect them from harm and staff understood risks associated with people’s care. However, some care records required updating or review to ensure staff had access to accurate information about people’s needs and support. Staff administered medicines as prescribed to support people’s healthcare needs. Environmental and equipment checks took place regularly to ensure people were kept safe. Staffing arrangements were regularly checked to make sure they were sufficient staff to support people’s needs. Staff had access to ongoing training to develop their skills, and competency checks were regularly completed. The provider had governance systems to monitor the quality of the service and support any required learning amongst staff. Managers made sure staff attended regular meetings, including supervision meetings, to support their needs and maintain the quality of the service. Cleaning of the home took place regularly and systems in place supported the maintenance of infection prevention and control.

At our last rated inspection, the rating for the service was Good (published 25/07/2018). A further inspection to the service was completed in 2022 where the service was not rated (published 23/02/2022).
