This residential care home accommodates up to 43 people who require personal and nursing care, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 26 residents were being supported. The home maintained a clean, tidy environment with good ventilation throughout. Communal spaces were thoughtfully arranged with furniture positioned to support safe social distancing, and Perspex screens were installed between dining table seats to reduce cross-contamination risks. The registered manager had made several environmental modifications to enhance safety, including limiting the number of people at shared tables and spacing chairs in lounge areas. An outdoor space was available for residents to use in suitable weather. Visitor safety protocols were in place, including temperature checks and health assessments upon arrival.
