The Willows

The Willows provides personal care and accommodation for up to 27 people with dementia or physical disabilities across two floors. At inspection, 22 residents were living there. People and their relatives reported feeling safe, and staff demonstrated good knowledge of safeguarding procedures, expressing confidence in raising concerns. The home supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff adopting the least restrictive approach and acting in residents' best interests.

The service had effective systems in place to monitor quality and the running of the home. However, inspectors identified a lack of meaningful activities available to occupy residents during the day. The registered manager had already recognised this gap and was working to improve activity provision, with inspectors recommending a full review of the activities offered to residents.
