Abbeygate Care Centre provides personal care and accommodation for up to 17 older people, with the service currently supporting 17 residents. The provider has quality assurance systems in place and has taken action to make improvements, though several issues identified during inspection had not been caught by the provider's audits. Maintenance work identified by the provider had not been completed in a timely manner.

People felt safe and were supported by staff who had received training in how to recognise, report and act on safeguarding concerns.
