About Tiled House

Tiled House is a residential care home in Dudley, providing accommodation and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. Further details on the service can be found in the CQC findings below.

This care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 48 older people, including those living with dementia. Most residents are admitted for short-stay rehabilitation with the aim of returning to their own homes in the community. At the time of inspection, 39 people were living at the home.

The home had implemented a pre-booked pod visiting system to enable safe visits. For people who were very unwell, special arrangements were made for relatives to visit, with visitors required to wear full personal protective equipment and take a COVID-19 test. Infection prevention and control guidance was followed when admitting new residents to the home.
