Bromley Place

Bromley Place in Dudley is a residential care home for up to three adults under 65 with learning disabilities or mental health needs, each living in their own self-contained flat. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding people received individualised, person-centred support, with enough staff on hand and risks well managed. Staff understood safeguarding responsibilities, and relationships between people and staff were trusting and kind.

Inspectors did identify some minor concerns, including gaps in medicines management, such as unclear PRN protocols and expired medicines, and an incomplete check on one staff member's DBS record. The management team acted promptly to address these issues. People spoke positively about their lives at the home, enjoying activities such as football and church, and were able to personalise their flats to feel at home.
