8 Acres provides personal and nursing care to 18 people aged 18 and over with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or mental health needs. Residents live in individual bungalows and the main house, each with their own kitchen and en-suite facilities, plus access to communal indoor and outdoor spaces.

However, inspectors found that people have not consistently received good quality care or been supported by staff sufficiently familiar with their individual needs. The COVID-19 pandemic further restricted residents' opportunities to engage in activities they enjoy and maintain regular contact with people important to them.
