8 Acres is a care home providing support to people with a learning disability and autistic people, across two main units and some single occupancy accommodation. Following a previous inspection where the provider was found in breach of regulations covering safe care, safeguarding, consent, staffing and governance, the CQC found enough improvement had been made and no breaches remained.

Inspectors found risks were well managed, staffing levels and training were sufficient, and people had good choice and control over their lives. Care was described as deeply person-centred, with people and relatives speaking warmly of trusted, compassionate staff, tailored communication, and support to build independence through everyday tasks and enjoyable activities.
