About The Laurels Care Home

The Laurels Care Home is a residential care home in Norfolk. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the service.

The Laurels Care Home, in Norfolk, supports up to 52 people living with dementia, physical disability, sensory impairment, mental health needs, autism or a learning disability. The home is rated Good overall. Inspectors found a caring, skilled staff team who supported people well, with good management and effective partnership working with health and community services.

However, the CQC found the provider was in breach of regulations around safe care and treatment: the environment was not always safe, medicines were not always well managed, and risk assessments did not always give staff clear information. People and relatives spoke positively about the kindness and attentiveness of staff.
