Wyndthorpe Hall & Gardens Care Home

Wyndthorpe Hall & Gardens is a residential care home with capacity for up to 82 people, operating across two separate buildings: Wyndthorpe Hall and Court, which provides residential dementia care, and Wyndthorpe Gardens, which provides nursing dementia care. At inspection, 54 people were using the service, many living with dementia. Each building has its own registered manager.

Inspectors found that safety systems related to the care environment's layout and hygiene practices were not effective. Medicines were generally managed safely, though the provider could improve consistency by sharing knowledge and learning across different parts of the service. Staff understood safeguarding procedures and could describe the process for reporting concerns, helping ensure people were protected from abuse.
