The Old Rectory Nursing Home

The Old Rectory accommodates up to 36 older people, including those living with dementia, and provides nursing and personal care. At the time of inspection, 22 people were using the service. Some relatives and staff expressed concerns about staffing levels, reporting that people occasionally waited for support. However, inspectors did not observe these delays during their visit, and the provider was regularly assessing staffing needs using a dependency tool. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control in their lives, using the least restrictive approaches and acting in their best interests, with policies and systems in place to support this practice.
