Amphion View is a residential care home in Doncaster providing personal care to up to 35 people, including some people living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, having identified breaches relating to safe care and treatment, safeguarding and governance. Inspectors found unmanaged risks in the premises, weak infection control, and gaps in how the home ensured decisions were made in people's best interests, though quality checks were not always effective at spotting these issues.

Despite this, medicines were managed safely, staffing levels were adequate, and people had good access to healthcare. Inspectors found staff to be kind, respectful and attentive, and people and relatives spoke positively about the care and felt involved in day to day decisions.
