Windsor Care Centre

Windsor Care Centre is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 72 people across two separate adapted floors. The service cares for older adults, some of whom live with dementia. At the time of inspection, 39 people were living at the service.

Inspectors found that whilst some aspects of medicines management had improved, other areas required further development to ensure people's safety. A particular concern was identified around continuity of medicines administration when people temporarily left the home. The provider did not have adequate systems in place to prevent missed medicines during these transitions, which put residents at risk.
