Windmill Care Centre

Windmill Care Centre provides accommodation and personal care or nursing care for older adults, including those living with dementia. The home accommodates 53 people across three separate floors, with one floor specialising in dementia care. Each floor has adapted facilities to meet residents' needs. At inspection, 44 people were receiving care.

The service had made significant improvements to safety and quality since the previous inspection. People received safe care with effective management of medicines and proper assessment and mitigation of risks. Staff were deployed in sufficient numbers to keep people safe, and the premises were well-maintained, clean and tidy. People were protected against abuse, neglect and discrimination.
