Wickmeads

Wickmeads is registered to provide residential care for up to 50 older adults, including people living with dementia. At the time of the CQC's assessment, 44 people were living at the home. Inspectors found the service was performing well, with a rating of good overall.

Risk assessments were in place and updated as needs changed, and staff understood safeguarding procedures and how to raise concerns. Recruitment was safe, staffing levels were sufficient, and staff felt well supported and trained. People and their relatives spoke positively about the care, describing staff as kind and welcoming, and said they felt safe and at home.
