Wickmeads

Wickmeads provides personal care for up to 50 people and was supporting 41 residents at the time of inspection. People felt safe and comfortable with staff and each other. The care team had received appropriate training, and staff demonstrated good knowledge of safeguarding systems. Medicines were managed safely and stored securely, with trained staff administering doses as prescribed. The service supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, working within Mental Capacity Act principles and using the least restrictive practices in residents' best interests.
