Avon Reach

Avon Reach is a purpose-built care home accommodating up to 60 older people and provides nursing care. Thirty-seven residents were living there at the time of inspection. The home creates engaging activities and resources to support residents' wellbeing. Staff assembled personalised boxes of entertainment items for people self-isolating in their rooms, including iPads with staff support, additional television channels, puzzles, books and CDs selected according to individual preferences. The home also scheduled regular staff visits to these residents to maintain social contact and support during isolation periods.
