Westleigh House

Westleigh House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 12 people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding a kind, relaxed atmosphere where people were treated with respect and supported by enough well trained staff. Medicines were managed safely, and people were supported to make choices about their daily lives.

Inspectors found care plans were person centred, though some information about people's hobbies and interests had not always been fully incorporated. The new registered manager was already working to expand access to activities. Staff felt supported, visitors were welcomed, and quality monitoring systems ensured shortfalls were identified and improved.
