About Westfield House

Westfield House is a residential care home in Leicestershire, providing support to younger and older people, including those living with dementia. The findings from the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Westfield House is a residential care home providing support to younger and older people, including those living with dementia. Inspectors found the service had improved since the last assessment and was no longer in breach of regulations around staffing. There were enough skilled, well-trained staff, risks were managed well, and leaders were visible and receptive to new ideas, with a strong learning culture.

Some issues remained: handrails had chipped paint making cleaning difficult, and a medicines fridge had briefly dropped below the required temperature, though this was addressed promptly. People and relatives spoke warmly of kind, attentive staff who knew them well and felt confident raising concerns.
