Charnwood Lodge

Charnwood Lodge is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 17 adults and young adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs. The three-storey building has no lift, which may limit accessibility for some people. Each bedroom includes ensuite facilities and some have kitchenettes, allowing residents to prepare meals and spend time privately rather than relying entirely on communal areas.

The care and support provided is safe, with staff demonstrating knowledge of how to protect people from harm and abuse. The service has robust protocols for managing incidents and takes steps to reduce the risk of recurrence. The provider has designed the accommodation to help residents avoid large group settings if they prefer more privacy, with cooking and dining facilities available within individual flats.
