Westbrooke Grange provides residential care and support for up to five people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or mental health needs. The service maintains high standards of infection prevention and control. Personal protective equipment is readily available and staff use it safely in line with current guidance.

The premises are clean and uncluttered, with effective cleaning schedules in place including hourly cleaning of high touch surfaces such as handles and light switches.

The home supports people to maintain contact with relatives through mobile phones and video calls. Visitors are asked to consent to rapid COVID-19 tests, have their temperature checked, wear PPE, and wash their hands. Staff help people to socially distance when using communal areas, and both people and staff participate in regular testing.

Policies and procedures are in place to manage infection control safely, and these are continually updated to reflect current national guidance.
