Hadleigh Court

Hadleigh Court accommodates up to 31 older people who receive personal care. At inspection, 27 residents were living at the service. People reported being happy and felt supported by staff who were kind, caring and knew them well. Staff understood how to communicate effectively with residents, and people's needs were assessed with care plans containing key information to guide support. The registered manager was highly regarded by residents, relatives and staff, who felt listened to and appreciated in their roles.

Safeguarding systems were established with clear policies and procedures in place. The service supported people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible. However, medicines were not always stored or managed safely, and the provider has been recommended to review the medicine administration auditing process.
